Alisa Baratta,
Executive Director.
Alisa Baratta, Executive Director, has 20 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector.
Formerly Associate Director of Nonprofit Connection, Alisa has
extensive experience in fundraising, resource development and planning
for nonprofit agencies. Prior to joining Nonprofit Connection, Alisa
designed programs and raised funds for domestic and international
agencies involved in housing, social services, women's programs,
environmental and economic development projects. She is an adjunct
instructor in fundraising at New School University’s Milano
Graduate School. She holds a BA in international studies from American
University and an MS in nonprofit management from The New School
University.

Antoinnette Donegan,
Fiscal Program Assistant.
Antoinnette is a full-charge bookkeeper who provide support to the Senior Associate for Financial Management.
Prior to joining Nonprofit Connection she was a bookkeeper for Dwa
Fanm, a nonprofit organization advocating on behalf of victims of
domestic violence in the Haitian Community. Antoinette has also
provided bookkeeping services to a number of for-profit small business
entities. She is familiar with a variety of computer accounting
softwares, including FundE-Z, QuickBooks and Account Ability.

Eileen Farrar,
Office Manager.
Eileen administers the offices of Nonprofit Connection, ensuring that
staff and clients receive appropriate support services, including
comprehensive record keeping and prompt response to customer service
matters. Eileen brings a wide range of experience having worked as an
Office Manager at Osborne Association. She also has experience working
in a variety of NYC governmental agencies including NYC Departmentof
Health, Civilian Complaint Review Board, Department of Homeless
Services and Housing Preservation and Development.

Leslie Graham,
Senior Program Associate for Organizational Development,
Leslie has worked as a consultant for nonprofit organizations since 1998.
Prior to joining Nonprofit Connection, Leslie worked across the country
on planning initiatives related to cultural development. In this
capacity, Leslie served as facilitator and consultant on nonprofit arts
projects involving local governments and community-based organizations
as well as educational and cultural institutions. Her management
experience includes terms with the Huntington Theatre in Boston, the
National Gallery of Art in Washington and Johns Hopkins University.
Leslie holds an MBA in nonprofit management from Boston
University’s Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s
degree from Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri).

M. Carolina Grynbal,
Senior Associate for Organizational Development.
Carolina has over 20 years experience in developing and managing nonprofit human services programs.
Prior to joining Nonprofit Connection, Carolina served as Chief Program
Officer for Grand Street Settlement where she had supervisory oversight
for five divisions: youth development, senior services, early childhood
services, school-based programs and mental health services. She is an
adjunct instructor in management at New York University¹s Wagner
School of Public Service, and Pace University, where she teaches Women
and Gender Studies. She holds a BA from Skidmore College, an MSW for
New York University and an MS in management from New York
University.

Beverly Harris,
Senior Program Associate.
Beverly Harris, Senior Program Associate for Financial Management,
provides consulting services and training in nonprofit financial
management. Beverly uses her broad knowledge of accounting operations,
human resources administration, cash management and fiscal oversight to
help fiscal managers and non-financial staff understand and develop
sound financial management practices. She has worked as a fiscal
manager in many nonprofit organizations, most notably as Chief Fiscal
Officer at the Child Development Support Corporation and as the Fiscal
Officer for the South Forty Corporation.

John Magisano,
Senior Associate for Client Services and Training.
John is responsible for coordinating and ensuring effective delivery of
consulting and training services to our nonprofit client
organizations.
Prior to joining Nonprofit Connection, John served as Director
for of Technical Assistance programs at the NYC AIDS Coalition. In this
capacity, John directed a State-wide project that provided
capacity-building technical assistance to AIDS service providers. John
also has extensive experience developing and delivering trainings
curriculum to nonprofit organizations. John holds a BA from New School
for Social research and an M.Div. from New York Theological Seminary.

Kathleen W. Murnion,
Project Consultant.
Kathleen W. Murnion, Project Consultant, works with a wide range of
nonprofits in the fields of marketing, strategic planning and Board
development.
For more than 15 years, Kathy has helped nonprofits, funders and
businesses assess their resources, define their goals, identify their
“markets” and develop action plans for their future
stability and growth. Kathy is an adjunct professor at New York
University and Fordham University, and is frequently invited to give
presentations and workshops for nonprofits. Prior to becoming a
consultant, she gained extensive corporate experience as a senior
product manager at the Life Savers Division of Nabisco Brands, Inc.,
and the Clairol Division of Bristol Myers. She holds a BA in English
from Mercy College, an MA in English literature from City University of
New York, and an MBA in marketing and management from New York
University.
